Laura Starc

Laura is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist and Exercise Scientist, who has completed both a Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology and Bachelor of Exercise Science. She is passionate about women’s musculoskeletal health, and strongly believes in empowering women of all ability to reach their potential.

Laura has a strong passion for running, with a 17-year background in track and field sprinting. After becoming a mother, she developed an interest in helping postpartum women with their return to exercise, which has led to her undertaking a PhD in postpartum women and their return to running.

Laura also works as a lecturer and tutor at the Australian Catholic University, teaching in both the Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology and Bachelor of Exercise Science. She also has experience working with a variety of clinical populations and has been involved in the rehabilitation of both acute and chronic injuries.

At Total Physiotherapy, Laura takes Functional Fitness classes and Pilates classes, as well as exercise physiology appointments.

Outside of work you’ll find Laura running, at the gym, or with her family and friends.
