Naya Broome is a Physiotherapist at Total Physiotherapy Manly Vale in Sydney’s Northern Beaches with experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, sports injuries, lower limb rehabilitation, spinal pain and post-operative rehabilitation. Naya’s areas of expertise include:

Naya completed a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science followed by a Master of Physiotherapy at the University of Technology Sydney. She has developed further sports rehabilitation experience working within the Manly Warringah Football Association Premier League, completed APA Sports Level 1 training through the Australian Physiotherapy Association and previously a qualified Sports Trainer with Sports Medicine Australia.

Her evidence-based treatment approach combines comprehensive assessment, hands-on physiotherapy, exercise rehabilitation and movement analysis to identify the underlying cause of injury and guide recovery.

Naya provides personalised treatment plans tailored to each patient’s goals, supporting both short-term recovery and long-term physical health She enjoys working with adult and adolescent runners and field sport athletes and those recovering from injury or training for competition. She regularly treats post-surgical patients to reduce pain, restore movement, improve strength while helping to minimise the risk of future injury. Naya commonly sees patients for:

• Sports injuries, including acute muscle and ligament injuries, sporting injuries, exercise-related injuries and return-to-sport rehabilitation.

• Lower limb injuries for example, ACL rehabilitation, ankle sprains, Achilles tendinopathy, plantar fasciitis, running injuries, knee pain, hamstring strains and other lower limb sporting injuries.

• Neck and back pain, spinal conditions and movement-related musculoskeletal issues affecting work, sport and everyday activities.

• Upper and lower limb musculoskeletal conditions, including overuse injuries, joint pain and movement dysfunction.

• Post-operative rehabilitation following orthopaedic procedures, supporting recovery of strength, movement and confidence.

• Injury prevention, exercise rehabilitation and performance-focused programs designed to improve resilience and reduce the risk of recurrence.

Outside the clinic, Naya has a strong background in strength and conditioning, marathon running and soccer, giving her a practical understanding of the physical demands of sport, training and maintaining an active lifestyle.
