Classes

We are proud to offer you an extensive range of services, our team works closely with doctors and health care professionals to ensure your best outcome.

If you are finding it too difficult to come to our practice, we are able to offer assessment and treatment in your home, within our local area. (Subject to availability)

Teen Fit Exercise Classes

Our Youth Teen Fit classes are a new, evidence-based exercise group of up to 5 participants are led by an Accredited Exercise Physiologist.

Equipment Pilates

Following a thorough assessment with a physiotherapist, including using real-time ultrasound to assess your abdominal muscle strength, we discuss the best clinical exercise program for you.

Mat Pilates

Our 1 hour mat classes have a maximum of five participants per class and encompass a combination of mat exercises and the use of props (e.g. Swiss balls, foam rollers, rings and therabands).

Senior Fit Exercise Classes

With Senior Fit Exercise, you can move well and stay well with our gentle exercise classes for seniors. Maintain and restore your strength, balance, flexibility, circulation and mobility for the future with our very popular and fun group exercise class.

Pelvic Floor

Pelvic floor problems are a major reason women stop or modify their exercise due to symptoms or the fear that exercise will make their problems worse.

Pre and Post Natal

We offer both pregnancy exercise and postnatal exercise classes to help your body cope with the changing demands of pregnancy, prepare for childbirth and then assist with recovery following the birth. These classes target abdominal muscles including recovery of abdominal separation, core stability, pelvic floor muscles, flexibility, functional movement to cope with the physical demands of caring for a baby and prepare for return to higher impact exercise.

Functional Fitness Classes

The Functional Fitness class is aimed at helping you function at your best for as long as you can, working on cardiovascular fitness, muscular strength, agility and balance.

GLA:D PROGRAM

The GLA:D Australia Program (also known as Good Life with osteoArthritis: Denmark) is a research program originally from Denmark that targets anyone with hip or knee joint pain.

Bone Fit and Strong

Our Bone Fit and Strong classes are a structured weight and impact training program tailored to you.

Diabetes Strong + Fit Program

Our Diabetes Strong + Fit Program is a nine-week program designed to help individuals with Type 2 Diabetes increase their insulin sensitivity and better manage this condition.  This program is delivered in accordance with a Type 2 Diabetes GP referral, which offers a rebate on all sessions.

Back Fit Program

Our BackFit Program is an exercise-based program designed to help individuals safely return to the gym and exercise following a back injury. ⁠

BalanceFit

The class emphasis is on balance, strengthening and mobility exercises, consisting of exercises in both sitting and standing positions.⁠ ⁠

Gross Motor Skills

Gross Motor Skills are physical skills that require whole body movement and involve the large muscles in the arms, legs and torso.

Baby Development

An educational and fun class under the supervision of an experienced physiotherapist to teach parents how to position your baby for play to facilitate gross motor development. You will learn different play and resting positions appropriate for your baby’s level.
