Diabetes Strong + Fit Program

Our Diabetes Strong + Fit Program is a program designed to help individuals with Type 2 Diabetes, increase their insulin sensitivity and better manage this condition.

This program is run by Exercise physiologists Nathan McGrath and Jemma Hilliger and consists of an initial exercise physiology assessment, followed by eight group exercise classes which are run weekly. These classes are inclusive to resistance, cardiovascular, and mobility exercises as well as educational components focused on healthy lifestyle changes.

The classes aim to provide an individualised approach offering close supervision and monitoring throughout.

This program is delivered in accordance with a Type 2 Diabetes GP referral, which offers a rebate on all sessions.
