(B.Phyty Physiotherapy) + Physiotherapist
Gunda qualified as a physiotherapist in Germany in 2002. She moved to Australia in 2007 and underwent the hard process to qualify as an Australian Physiotherapist. Since then, Gunda has worked in hospitals and private practice settings where she is applying manual techniques and exercise prescriptions to ensure the ongoing care of her patients. She has a passion to keep the elderly population fit and active in a safe environment and teaches our very popular Senior Fit classes.
Furthermore, Gunda runs GLAD classes, which is a research-based program to reduce symptoms of patients with hip and knee osteoarthritis, as well as Mat and Equipment Pilates classes.
She also holds a specialised qualification in Manual Lymphatic Drainage, a technique to encourage the natural drainage of the lymph fluid from body tissue to reduce swelling e.g. due to surgery.
Away from work Gunda lives locally in Manly, is a mother of two children and loves to spend time with them especially outdoors. She is very active and loves to run, swim, Zumba, Pilates and surf, but also enjoys reading a good book when she finds some spare time.
