How We Aim to Assist You with Your Physiotherapy Needs in the Current Environment

Total Physiotherapy remains open for business and we are thinking creatively and strategically as to how we can to continue to provide you with physiotherapy treatment.

We continue to observe all the recommended hygiene practices and regulations, in which we are also now taking measures to keep staff seperate from each other, where possible.

How can physio work for you remotely or with “social distancing”?

We are working to have this set up both for exercise classes and consultations.

Classes: if you are currently enrolled in a class we will be contacting you regarding which platform we will use for you.

Over 60s: Classes are CANCELLED until further notice. A home programme has been sent to all participants. If you would like specific guidance please contact us regarding our Telehealth options.

Individual consultations: While physiotherapy does involve a certain amount of “hands on” assessment much can be achieved via a video consultation. We can learn about the problem and observe movement much as we normally would to help arrive at a diagnosis.

A valuable part of management is education and exercise. We are certainly able to progress your exercises. While we await guidelines from the Health Funds, we will charge these as Short Visit Consultations.

“Quiet Time” Appointments

If you are minimising social contact, we are able to find you an appointment at a time when there is a minimum number of people in the practice.

Similarly, we can organise one-on-one physiotherapist supervised use of the exercise equipment room or gym area.

Home Visits

If you are not comfortable about coming into Total Physiotherapy, we offer home visit consultations, where a physiotherapist can observe you in the comfort of your own home and observe all the recommended hygiene protocols.

At Total Physiotherapy Manly Vale, we want to be part of the solution. Please feel free to contact us at anytime should you have any questions or concerns. Call us on 02 9907 0321 or email us at
